As a filmmaker, playwright and writer, Mark has had works performed in various festivals and theaters worldwide. His film, Bad Doggie, Chuckles, was selected for the 2015 Fort Myers Film Festival and the 2013 Filminute collection. Ask Your Doctor About … was selected for the 2015 Connecticut Film Festival. The Session (directed by Jimmy Gnass, written and produced by Mark Bellusci), was selected as a “Best of” for the Toronto GiggleShorts festival and featured on itsashort.com. Book It! was selected for the 2015 ArtByChance Festival. Several of Mark’s plays have been published and produced. Born to be Blue won and was published in the 2002 Samuel French Off-off Broadway Festival. His plays, Au Revoire, Noir and The Intervention, have both appeared in several festivals, and are published by Brooklyn Publishers. Mark was also published in Smith & Kraus Best Men’s Stage Monologues of 1998 and 1999. In addition to working on a new film and play, Mark is a freelance commercial videographer and copywriter who enjoys writing about himself in third person and will do so from now on.
